The Project includes the following, but is not limited to:

Construction of the Washington Avenue-300 Block Sidewalk Improvements including but not limited to:

  • 700 – SY Remove and Replace Concrete Sidewalk
  • 610 – LF Remove and Replace Existing Granite Curbing
  • 250 – SY Remove and Replace 2” Asphalt Type SF9.5B w/10” CABC Base
  • 200 – LF Decorative Aluminum Hand Railing
  • 10 – EA. Water Meter Box Adjustment
  • 1 – LS Adjust Decorative Light Poles to Proposed Sidewalk Grades
  • 1 – LS Installation of New Electrical System for Planter/Sidewalk Receptacles

The Project has an expected duration of 120 calendar days.

The Town of Weldon is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:

Washington Avenue-300 Block Sidewalk Improvements Project

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received by the Town of Weldon at the Town Hall located at 109 Washington Avenue, Weldon, North Carolina, until Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at 2:00 PM local time.  At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.

Obtaining the Bidding Documents

Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.

Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office upon receipt of a non-refundable payment of $50.00 for each set.  Make checks for Bidding Documents payable to Green Engineering, P.L.L.C.
